Nigeria has taken another step in curbing corruption with this, thanks to social media. I posted a viral video of a policeman that was caught on tape asking for bribe in dollars.
Corporal Chiyem Aniyem F/NO. 374171 is from Isheri division, Lagos state Police Command. His arrest was sequel to a matching order issued by the Inspector general of Police, IGP Md Abubakar to the Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, CP Umar Abubakar Manko to ensure proper arrest and investigation of the matter.
Following his arrest,the suspect who is now in Police custody is undergoing Orderly Room Trials and if found guilty will face appropriate disciplinary action.
Well done to Nigerian Government,we are really getting there.
